By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Services
The Services help connect consumers with independent service professionals, partners, or buyers who may provide quotes, information, or services related to home improvement and related categories. We are a matching and marketing service. We do not perform the underlying home services, and we do not guarantee that any professional will contact you, that any quote will be provided, or that any particular price or outcome will result.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Communications consent
If you call us, submit a form, or otherwise provide contact information, you consent to be contacted by us and by independent partners or service professionals at the phone number, email address, or other contact points you provide — including by automated or prerecorded calls or text messages — for purposes related to your request, marketing where permitted, and operational messages, even if your number appears on a state or federal Do Not Call list, to the extent allowed by law. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services except where required disclosures say otherwise. Message and data rates may apply for SMS.
4. No professional relationship with us
Your agreement for home services, if any, is with the independent professional or partner you choose, not with us. We are not a party to those agreements and are not responsible for the quality, timing, licensing, insurance, warranties, or performance of third-party services.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in any unlawful manner or for fraudulent purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users, or third parties.
- Scrape, harvest, or automate access to the Services in a way that burdens our systems or violates our policies.
- Misrepresent your identity or submit false or misleading information.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Services as offered, no rights are granted to you.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US DIRECTLY FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANY FEES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home Services Connect and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where our principal business operations are located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will lie in the state and federal courts located in that state, except where prohibited by law or where you have a non-waivable right to bring a claim in another forum.
If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or state may apply in addition to or instead of portions of this section.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Effective date.” Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
